Frequently asked questions

I’m not sure if my foundation needs repair, do you offer inspection service?

Yes! We offer FREE foundation inspections to registered homeowners. During this visit we will inspect the foundation condition, all piers and posts, floor leveling and seismic bolts to ensure code compliance.

How do I know if my foundation needs repair?

Typical signs are visible cracks in interior or exterior walls, difficult to open doors or windows, noticeable drops or soft spots in flooring or even cracks in tile flooring.

My insurance is requiring that I have my foundation retrofitted, do you offer that service?

We regularly work with homeowners who have received notice from their insurance carrier requiring their foundation to be retrofitted. You may also qualify for a discount on your insurance if you have your foundation retrofitted.

I received an “Earthquake Brace & Bolts” letter, does your company do seismic retrofit work?

Absolutely, we are a fully licensed foundation reinforcement company with the necessary FEMA training required by the EBB program and we have done hundreds of seismic retrofits throughout Southern California.

Do we have to move out during the repair work?

No, it is not normally necessary that the occupants leave the home during the foundation repair process. The work typically takes 3-4 weeks.

Do I have to pay the entire repair cost upfront before work begins?

No, we usually work with the homeowner to take an initial deposit and create a payment schedule for the remaining balance.
